After having shifted our premises from the city of Rheinberg to about 10 km further south of Kamp-Lintfort in September last year, all conversion and refurbishment works have been completed in July this year.

The movement was necessary in order for KoWey to adapt to the continuous growth of the company due to the increased market presence.

The new premises provides  450 m² assembly shop with 10 tons overhead crane and 250m² office block  as well as  4600 m²  asphalted outside storage facility.

Experienced with our capabilities with the supplied two KoWey central chain bucket elevators of type KCT50 in April 2011, the Cement Producer OMAN CEMENT COMPANY has placed orders for 6 more elevators of same type with different conveying capacities and centre-to-centre distances.
The biggest elevator is handling 300 tph raw meal at a c-t-c distance of 60 meters and is replacing a silo feeding system working pneumatically. The required air slide system to integrate the new equipment in existing surrounding and the detailed engineering for new towers and platforms belong to KoWey’s scope of supply.

After having carried out the establishment of KCT India, Mr. Sashi Kumar officially joined the Board as Managing Director with effect of February 22, 2012.
Mr. Kumar worked from 1982–2007 in the Project Department of a Cement Plant in the Middle East.
From January 2007 till August 2011 he worked with a German Company in their Indian Office, dealing with Vertical Coal Mills, Great Coolers, ETA Coolers, Conveying Systems and other components for the Cement, Steel and Alumina Industries.
Thereafter, he joined KoWey GmbH as consultant and was actively building-up the KoWey Conveying Technology Engineering Pvt. Ltd., in Bangalore, Karnataka.

ORDERS FROM VENEZUELABy the end of 2011 INVECEM, Venezuela had placed several spare parts orders for steel cord re-enforced rubber belts to be replaced in bucket elevators of other OEM’s at their San Sebastian Cement plant.

After having put three belts in operation INVECEM placed orders for a new KoWey Belt Bucket Elevator type KCT60 for pre-heater feeding and two new KoWey Pan Conveyors type KCT10 and KCT20 taking the clinker from the cooler to the main clinker silo.

All new equipments will be used for the up-gradation project at their Cumarebo Cement plant.
